Fredrik Galtung is the chief executive of Tiri, an NGO created in 2003 out of the recognition that the time for talking and raising awareness about corruption has now moved on to the determined reduction and control of corruption by the application of practical knowledge and skills. Tiri works with governments, business, and civil society to find practical solutions to making integrity work. They operate in the belief that improvements in integrity offer perhaps the single largest opportunity for sustainable and equitable development worldwide. Tiri is currently active in more than 40 countries on six continents.
