Former Ambassador Dies in Ghastly Auto Accident

Ex-Director of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and the former Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, Ambassador Saidu Shettima Pindar, was involved in a ghastly accident that claimed his life.

The accident occurred yesterday Wednesday August 31 at Lambar Zango village on the Kaduna-Zaria express road when the ambassador’s jeep veered off and ran into a moving trailer. There were three occupants in the car, the ambassador died on his way to the hospital, the other two, his driver and another man, are receiving treatment at the hospital.

Late Pindar was the recently embattled deputy gubernatorial candidate of PDP in Borno State to Mohammed Goni. He was 56years old. May his soul rest in peace..amen.
