In the world of entertainment Rihanna is a very popular name. Her birth name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Rihanna is a Barbadian recording artist and actress. She was born on February 20, 1988. Her birth place is Saint Michael, Barbados. The name of her father is Ronald Fenty and the name of her mother is Monica Braithwaite. Rihanna is the eldest of three siblings. She has two brother named Rorrey and Rajad Fenty. From her father’s side, Rihanna has two half-sisters and a half-brother. Rihanna grew up listening to reggae music. She began singing at around the age of seven. In her childhood, she was deeply affected by her father’s addiction to crack cocaine, alcohol and marijuana. When she was 14, her parents’ turbulent marriage ended. Rihanna grew up in three-bedroom bungalow in Bridgetown and sold clothes with her father on a street stall.  She attended Charles F. The first respond to the demo tape was Jay-Z, who was the president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings. Rihanna auditioned for him in his office. After audition Jay-Z proposed her to sign with them. She spent next three months in recording and completing her debut album. On August 22, 2005 she released her debut single. The name of her debut single is “Pon de Replay”. This song peaked at number two on both the Billboard Hot100 and the UK Singles Chart. Peaking within the top ten across fifteen countries, it became a global hit. In August 2005, her debut album named “Music of the Sun” was released in the United States. The album reached number ten on the Billboard 200. In the first week, it sold over 69,000 copies. Denoting shipments of over 500,000 units to retailers in the United States, the album received a Gold certification by the Recording industry Association of America. Then Rihanna Began to work on her second studio album. Rihanna served as an opening act for Gwen Stefani on tour to promote her debut album, whilst recording the album. The name of this album is A Girl Like Me. This album released in April 2006. This album reached number five on the Billboard 200. This album sold over 115,000 copies in its first week. Her third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad released in 2007. Some singles reached top three in the Billboard Hot 100. Rihanna own Barbados Music Award in 2010. After that she collaborates with rapper Eminem on “Love the Way You Lie”. That was a major success for both artists. Her latest album Unapologetic released in 2012. This album is a nice album. Many popular artists like Eminem, David Guetta, Chris Brown featured in this album. Her single Diamonds reached number one in the Billboard top chart.
