DAKOVA ARRESTED FOR MURDER AND CONSPIRACY.

When I heard about this incident, I was really disturbed. How many of heard that one of Nigeria's most talented designers, David Kolawole Vaughn popularly called Dakova was arrested for murder and conspiracy some months back? His arrest was in connection with the bizarre and gruesome murder of PDP Governorship aspirant, Engr Funsho Williams. Can you guys believe that?

Before his arrest, Dakova was vieing for the Chairmanship of Lagos Mainland under the unbrella of the PDP.

Dakova said he was arrested because the police got information that he was involved in Funsho's untimely death. When asked why his name came up at all, he said he became the special implementation assistant to another PDP Governorship aspirant, Chief Ogunlewe, who he parted ways with over issues of money. He said his arrest had to do with an incident where Ogunlewe had instructed him to take some thugs with him and disrupt Funsho's meeting. An instruction he claims he never caaried out.

After his arrest, Dakova was taken from Lagos to Abuja where he was questioned by the IG of police. He was detianed in Wuse 3, Zone 7 for 12 days. He said he slept on bare floor with no shoes on the whole time.

He also said he was shocked that anybody could link him to the death of Late Williams, adding that it was a conspiracy of those who hated him and wanted to smear his name, and that such vindictive acts would not be able to discourage him from pursuing his set goals.

Dakova was release last week from detention and he said the best part of loosing his freedom and having so much time on his hands was that he was able to come up with 283 outfits which he's called 'Bondage'. He's releasing the clothes into the market soon and doing a fashion show.
